Hi there

It’s been a while since we sent out an update on what’s going on at Aero.

As usual, we have been very busy trying to bring you the very best in cricket equipment.

Product updates – KPR face and batting hands

The KPR face protector is seeping out onto the market.  We now have first class keepers in both Australia and New Zealand wearing it.  The ECB has approved the use of the face protector for youth cricketers in the UK. In other words, where the ECB regs require a person of a certain age to wear a helmet when keeping, our face protector has been approved as satisfying that regulation. Also, both keepers in the recent series between the Indian and Australian women wore it.  The revised strap system (as shown on the picture below) involves a chin strap underneath the chin and has definitely made the product more comfortable to wear. Click below to have a 3D look at the face protector.

All three hand protector models (P1, P2 and P3) have hit the market.  They are available now at key Aero outlets in Australia, NZ and South Africa and will be available in UK stores for Christmas. The feedback so far has been very encouraging and the online reviews have been very positive.  About the only negative feedback we have received is that those that prefer a roomier glove may wish to pick a size bigger than the initial sizing guide suggested.  You can see more about this product here.

New bag wins award

Recently, one of our new stand up bags has won an award in English Cricket Magazine – All Out Cricket. The bag is designed to cater to the player who does not need acres of space and who doesn't own three bats. Check out the review by clicking here.
