Lasith Malinga earned a joint man-of-the-match award in the ICC CWC match between Sri Lanka and South Africa.

Needing four runs to win with five wickets in hand, the South Africans nearly snatched defeat from the jaws of victory when Malinga removed Pollock, Hall, Kallis and Ntini with successive deliveries. No bowler in ODI history has taken four from four.
