Aero’s fast bowling contingent has taken a further significant step
forward with the signing of Sri Lankan fast bowler Lasith Malinga.
Malinga has become a significant force on the world fast bowling scene
during 2006. His express pace (regularly above 150 kmh) and slinging
action make him a formidable bowler to face. “Lasith Malinga is a
genuine threat whenever he bowls – with the old ball and new. From an
Aero point of view, he asks all the right questions of a player’s
protective equipment. We are very pleased to have signed him to a long
term deal with Aero”, said Aero’s managing director Philip Bradley.
Lasith joins Shane Bond and Roger Telemachus as Aero contracted
international fast bowlers.
