In what has been an incredibly hard fought series between the NZ and Australian women’s teams, Aero’s players have performed very well. Maria Fahey scored more runs that any other Kiwi at an average of over 40 in the international matches (5 ODIs and a Twenty/20 game). Sara McGlashan was the third highest scorer across the whole tour. Sarah Burke got wickets at key time in the ODI’s. Nicola Browne frequently got amongst the runs and was the second highest wicket taker on the tour as a whole – fulfilling her role as a key all rounder. Although NZ did not win the series, Aero salutes the achievements of its players and wishes Maria, Sara, Sarah and Nicola well for the season ahead.
