Simon Jackson's first senior international fixture (Jamaica vs Australia) saw him get a start in both innings.

Opening with his captain Brenton Parchment against one of the best attacks in the world on the 1st day was a real highlight. Jackson (29) and his captain (25) put on over 50 before the opening partnership was broken. Thereafter the innings declined somewhat until wicket keeper Carlton Baugh stepped in and smashed an entertaining 111 not out.

The second innings was less productive for Simon scoring 16 before being bowled by Stuart MacGill.

The match was fore-shortened by rain and ended in a draw. Well done Simon - we hoep you enjoyed the experience!
