As you know, we are launching a new bag in the UK for the 2009 season and we didn't have a name for it.

So we ran a competition, got loads of entries and have now judged the result.

The bag is to be called the "Aero Back Stack".  The winner of the competition is none other than NZ player (and super aero)  Iain O'Brien. Well done mate!

We had loads of great entries and decided that we should also award some other prizes, so the following people will also get bags:

  • Most Original name - "Indicibilis" by Liam Mason (UK) - apparently it is Latin for indescribable
  • Weirdest name - "Turtle" and "Mother" by Phil Robinson (Australia) - Mother - always on your back- get it?
  • "Close but no cigar" award for 2nd place - "Voyager" by Harry Copeland (UK) and Satchi Mahendran (UK)
  • Best effort award for most entries - Vishane Perera (UK)
Thanks again for all those who put in entries - keep an eye out for future competitions.
