OB was first called into the Black Caps in 2005, playing a couple of tests against Australia. Over the last few seasons he has consistently been either the leading wicket taker in New Zealand domestic cricket or not that far away from it.

In the 2007/08 season OB has regualalry had a place in the NZ test team and made his one day debut against England in February 2008.

Part of a mature (and mostly Aero-endorsing) NZ attack, OB also spends inordinate amounts of time on the internet maintaining his facebook page.
