almost as good as morrant ultralite( would have been better if sachin tendulkar is willing to try it out in test). i think this is really refreshing to see a old product made complety with new technology and ideas by aero!
weight - good
straps - ok could have been bigger or make it more special, now it is just the same as the straps on other pads.
Colour - the swirl strips of blue inside is fantastic, but on the outside of the pads it is not so convincing, take some que from the new puma balastic 6000 pads or the kookaburra diablo. i am sure the pads is allowded more bolour on the edge or side on the ourside. make it more striking than it is now(hospital cast.....ask my girl friend, she want to draw picture on it).
shape - leave the worst to the last. i think the reason conventional pad shape are still as it is today is because it works well. maybe it will take a few year for cricketers to accep the P1 pads look..... but i would like to see something in the middle of both. for example the V Sports V-Lite Batting Pad (http://www.vsports.co.uk/products/productdetail.asp?PC=V-LITE-BP) looks fantastic! it got the same principal as aero, both foam, but it does look better than the P1. if i have not gotten the P1 i would have gone for it.
