In my semi final match for cricket there was a small fat little smart arese kid who had some realy bad sledges that if the batter put any effort in he could have ripped him but as i was going out to bat my mate who got out told me that the wicket keeper was annoying him so after he said the next thing to him my mate turned arround and said who said that and looked at the slips and gully and than looked down at him and said oh sorry mate i couldn't see you over the stumps. He told me that it shut him up so when i got out there he said " If i was them id be trying to score some runs" and i said well aren't we all lucky you aren't our cricket coach and he shut up for a few overs and when he was in bat he got hit plum so i kindly mentioned that to him and he said "are you an umpire" and i said "are you a good batter, both questions have the same answer" i don't think he got it. Also when i was batting i endged one straight to him and the umpire didn't give it and he said "I heard that your out mate" so i said "are you an umpire"

I love the leg guards. Sizing, comfort, light wieght and protection what more can you ask for.

I've been a hockey keeper (OBO rocks!!!) for 4 years, and recently started playing cricket again (not since high school) so areo was a natural choice in equipment.

I get grief nearly every game, mostly from keepers.

A couple of weeks ago a keeper asked if it was compulsory for all tail enders to wear those "ugly arse pads", I hit 12 from my first over and made 31*. And had so much fun.

To rub it in I caught the keeper (their #4)at short cover for a duck, he did not seem very happy at all.

And last week I had a keeper tell me that aeros won't make me a good batsman, I then edged the next delivery which he dropped and some how flicked it to the boundry. I replyed that catching like that won't make him a good wiket keeper.LOL

WORST SLEDGING EVER!!!!

Let them try them on and I am sure they'll become converts.

i use P2 pads and have a green aero bat, hence the name aero and green my nickname is now minty beacuse i always come to matches with a aero mint chocolat bar and eat it in the feild (im a keeper and its very hard to do with gloves on) the sledging i get at games is normally "can i have a bite" or "its an umpa lumpa!" one team was especialy annoying i was 1st into bat and the opening bowler was also the captain leading the sledging he bowled a bouncer at me and i pulled it for a six next ball was a yorker that i hit for another 6 at the end of the 1st over we already had 36 runs
